Songwriting Studies

The Songwriting Studies Research Network was a two-year AHRC-funded project running between 2019-2020, which united scholars, industry workers and practitioners in a forum for the exchange of ideas about songwriting. It was led by Dr Simon Barber of Birmingham City University and Dr Mike Jones of University of Liverpool, UK.

In March 2019 I become the Project Coordinator and my role was to assist Simon on tasks related to the Research Network, including planning events and developing a journal dedicated to songwriting. Visit the Songwriting Studies Network website to learn more about this great project.
